How To Claim A Listing
Chances are your business is already cataloged in our directory. You’ll find an excellent Search function just below the header of every page, which will locate your business listing. You can also Browse the Directory to locate your listing.
If your business is not listed, you can easily Create a New Listing. For more information about adding your business, see the Add Your Business page.
Don’t hesitate!
Once your business is listed, there are a ton of benefits to claiming your listing, even if you choose the FREE option.
Claiming your FREE listing on The Molokai List allows you to add:
- your website address
- phone number
- detailed information about your business
- photographs
- and gives you the ability to respond to reviews.
Adding a paid version:
- increases your visibility by moving your ad to the top of the list
- allows you to place your ad in multiple categories
- provides an opportunity for banner advertising either at the top, center or bottom of the page
It’s a quick and easy process:
- Find the listing you would like to claim on The Molokai List.
- Open up the listing.
- Click the “Claim Listing” button. This leads to a confirmation page.
(If there is no claim listing button, this means someone may have already claimed the ad. Please contact us and we can help to determine the appropriate owner.) - Once you confirm, you are taken to the pricing page.
- At this point, it’s just like purchasing a new listing. Choose the price plan that is right for you and click “continue” at the bottom of the page.
- If you choose the free listing option you will skip this step. Otherwise you will be taken to Paypal to complete the transaction.
- Once you have claimed the listing and made your payment, the listing goes into pending status. Although you can see the listing on your dashboard, you cannot edit the listing until it has been approved by the administrator (this typically takes a few hours, but can take as long as a day).
- Once your listing is approved you will be able to edit the listing, add images, enhance contact information, fill out the description and respond to reviews.
